In our most recent workshop in Delhi, we worked on basic skill-building, drawing faces on everyday objects like ice creams, books, mugs etc. We learnt drawing using references, outlining with hand-eye coordination, building confidence in basic art skills, all the while encouraging the golden rule of sharing, with crayons and markers!
For Diwali, we created lanterns using chart paper and origami sheet, a few ribbons here and there and done! The children designed flowers and made bands from the leftover paper. We worked on accuracy and clean-cut work and creativity and colour sense, apart from the usual skill-building and art-craft basics!
We conducted an online workshop for Warli Art, a Maharashtrian art form.
We made wall hangings for Diwali, working on creative ideas suggested by them in groups.
